Recorded live at one of Paris’ most famous Jazz venues, the New Morning Club - duet collaboration with long time friend and music partner, wind instrumentalist, Didier Malherbe who formed the band Gong with David Allen. Pierre and Didier at their inimitable best, very special!
LIVE IN PARIS		 On his long-awaited 1994 release (his sixth album), Pierre Bensusan presents a work of mature beauty, depth, and variety. Wu Wei is a sometimes Gershwinesque collection of five instrumentals and Four vocals with French & English lyrics + bonus tracks. There's North African, jazz, new age, pop and folk flavours, served up to create the classical Bensusan mix of modern harmonies, songs, jazz brains and this unique fingerstylist's touch.

Spices showcases Pierre's fluid orchestral sound and amazing technique, and combines gorgeous guitar solos with vivid ensemble pieces. The tunes range from light swinging Jazz to Latin, from Baroque to Middle Eastern, Funk and Vocal Tracks. SPICES		 Solilaï is Pierre's first original material album. In 1983, it received a special mention at the Naird Indie Awards in the Jazz category. With Didier Malherbe’s stunning flutes and soprano sax, Solilaï is one of the most compelling acoustic guitar showcases, a classic.

Recorded in 1979, this is Pierre's first instrumental album, with warm atmosphere, between originals and covers.
MUSIQUES		 Pierre Bensusan 2 is an eclectic mix of songs and instrumental pieces exploring both contemporary, French and celtic traditions, a cross-over with Free Jazz, quite innovative with a strong atmosphere throughout. Le Roi Renaud was Pierre’s hit song.
PIERRE BENSUSAN 2
Pierre’s first recording at the age of 17. Près de Paris was awarded The Grand Prix du Disque for Folk Music at the Montreux Festival in 1976. Very folk orientated with an already distinctive, mature guitar style and musicality. All of Pierre trademarks are here. A classic, historical work, paving the way for many guitarists.
